Helen Korn grew up on a ranch in the San Luis Valley in the 1930s and 1940s, and subsequently lived in Colorado Springs, Denver, and California. In 1966 she moved to Boulder. She and her husband bought a house in the then-new Table Mesa neighborhood, where she has lived ever since. In this interview she talks about growing up in rural Colorado and about raising a family in and being part of the community of the Table Mesa neighborhood during the 1960s to 1980s. She also addresses changes in the Table Mesa neighborhood in recent years.
